Their Call to Arms
Something I just cannot comprehend is how our society glorifies death and murder in the name of men that you will never meet. Men who you could not possibly know or be friends with. They are not your family and they are not people who give a damn about you. If these men held anything but apathy in their hearts for you, they could not send you to do their bidding in battle. Dieing for your country is still. You wouldn't jump out of a car in the name of your country, why jump in front of our "enemies"? When their bullets and their shrapnel pierce your skin like a knife through butter, do you expect to have the president there shaking your hand?
This room is shrouded in night.
This room is splattered with fright.
The rise of nothing,
and the descent of more.
This room is ominous.
this room is bleak.
Ignoring the shrieks of children,
and weepings of the weak.
This room is silence.
This room is hypocrisy.
Drowning in its own water,
and silently grasping for breath.

Socialism has had excessively negative connotations attached to it. It has been deemed a sort of anti-American form of economy. Yes, form of economy. While it does highly involve the government, it is more of a system of economics than anything else. I believe using socialism would be a step in the correct direction for modern America. It could help distribute wealth, leave more to be put into community programs, an even be intertwined with democracy.
Distribution isn't something often done systematically enough or even fairly done for that matter in the U.S. Yet it has far more positive effects than negative. With a system if far higher t
I'm burning,
I'm burning,
while whirling,
while whirling.
I see no point,
there is no relevance,
given one's self,
they lose sanity
and gain rationality.
I'm burning,
I'm burning,
while whirling,
while whirling.
I am enveloped,
no sign of ceasing,
no reason to.
All else seem content,
While I, my life spent.
misery, misery
I am happy.
misery, misery
I am happy.
I'm burning,
I'm burning,
while whirling,
while whirling.

15 After Midnight
There was a point when I could not be void of the thought of suicide.
I felt so empty.
I was an open darkness whose sheer vastness of nothing would astound even the most intelligent of astronomers.
...I still feel this way...
Just not so frequently...
I have no purpose,
nor does any other being.
people say that the purpose of life is unknown
when in actuality there is no purpose
Life is a sheer phenomenon, a freak of nature.
We are one of 9 planets with life.
We are a freak of nature.
without purpose
without cause
without consequence
